1.75" x .120" tubing bending
#1
Need input with bending tubing!
So im sure this is a really dumb question, but i figure that it is one of those things that i really just wanna know "WHY".
So the story is, my buddy has a manual tube bender, similar to the JD2 M3 style, though i'm not sure what brand it is exactly. In any case, he told me he had a 1.75" die, so i bought 20 feet of tubing to bend some fender protection, to connect my sliders to my bumpers... but when i get to his house he only has a 1.5" die and a 2" die.
Is it possible to use either of these dies? I understand that they aren't the "correct" size and for all i know if you use the wrong size it could barely make a difference if they are close, or it could just destroy the tube and make a worthless bend. I have no idea what to expect and so i want to save some sacrificed tube and ask my friends on yotatech.
