SoCal Ocotillo Wells/TDS 3/6-3/8
Whats up peeps.. Well I finally got the chance to get out of civilization for a bit..I met up with my buddy and her family friday night after I got off of work, Then stuck around till sunday morning.
Ocotillo is a chill place, Im just not a fan of the high speed crap because my truck is not built for that. But still, I had a blast on the couple rides I went on...
Saturday, One of the first things in the morning I was riding my buddies ATV and went to take a turn too quickly, Alas I flipped over the bars and the throttle lever came with me, sooo, I had to haul the scrambler back to camp in the taco, Well needless to say I forgot about the tie downs that were somewhere in my truck
No pictures of that though...
Umm, Sunday the whole group went on a ride all over, we went to lost city and found the geo casche. But yeah, im only typeing more cause photobucket is taking forever....

I then accidently left my camera in the truck...
On the way back to Ocotillo, You can sorta see the window busted..
Missing battery hold downs plus my own crappy wiring for my cb = camp fix

Thanks dude, I had a great weekend, I havent been out in forever...
And now I find out I might go to Death Valley at the end of the month..

ohhh, No I broke the window with the atv, I forgot I left the camera in the truck or I would have more pics of tds..Its still there...
well, here...

Nice meeting you this weekend, Scuba. Now that I know your real name, every time I see your posts I just think of Scuba Steve from Big Daddy lol. Sorry I couldn't stick around longer, Saturday was my buddy's 21rst b-day and he wanted to get out of there. Hopefully we can wheel together another time.

wont have my truck back for at least another month, so im gonna have to forfeit any desert run until it cools down again. but hey then ill have my truck AND a 3 wheeler, so ill be set.

Actually no, I went back to camp, fixed my wires like in that pic, ate, then ate some more..Then went riding with the group I was with....
It was kool meeting you too pat, I wish you were closer up here I wouldnt feel bad about asking you to come all the way up to san bernadino to wheel (where I normally wheel)
...Like she thinking.. What next ?!?

head gasket. this time im just gonna totally rebuild the engine and put an engine builder .268 cam into it, with a header and find another supra VAFM eventually. its got a rebuilt tranny, so why not rebuild the engine too, so i will have the peace of mind?
