Red Wagon, Redeth & Chefyota4x4's Big Bear trip...
#1
Nov. 16, 2013:
I met up with Red Wagon and Redeth005, Nov. 15th, spent the night at the honey bear lodge, and we had an awesome day wheeling all day saturday, November 16th! Gold mountain, John Bull Trail, Van Deusen, etc... Beautiful day, the trails were wide open with almost no one up there... Just incredibly awesome!
Always enjoy hanging out with Richard/Redeth, and it was excellent meeting Red Wagon and his lovely wife! She's responsible for many of the great pictures and video... The shorter video with music was done by Richard, you did a great job! The longer one is one that I did that is just pretty much the good parts of all of our wheeling videos and pictures... But less trimmed and with no music. We had well over two hours of video, so I did cut off around 65 percent of it... Sync it to your TV and....
Enjoy...

Haha! Sorry i just wanted to make sure people read it. I know i dont usually read through all the comments on a page. but something like that would catch my eye easily. lol
Thanks man. glad you liked the videos. Wish it was possible to make a huge yotatech run for something like this. That would be so worth going to.

LMAO! Chef that was definitely unexpected haha
It had its rough parts but it is most definitely do-able. Look at Red Wagon for instance. He got by with one rear locker 35" tires and lots of brute force with the gas pedal lol thats pretty hardcore haha

Oh yea I forgot to mention that haha. He is rockin the Blazeland kit for the front end. That stuff really held up great. Ive got nothing bad to say about it at all. He kept up with us very well. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody with an IFS rig.

Yeah i thought so, that is probably the route im gonna take, and correct me if im wrong but that kit doesnt extend the width of the front end just the articulation right?
Also, all 3 of your Runners are really nice.

My friend has an 86 pick up and originally planned to sas. But since he's tight with money now. And I explained to him the entire cost that goes into a SAS and upgrades mainly the hard work. And explained to him the Blazeland kit is all bolt on and much cheaper then doing a full SAS then I showed him the pix long travel kit on on Red Wagons truck and he loved it. I think he is now set on getting one.

You should check out my build thread, ive got a few issues with my truck that im working on (i drive it everyday to work), but i will probably be reolacing my 4" block lift in the rear with Trail Gear's 4" kit w/longer leafs, shackles, and Bill shocks. Come check my thread though, let me know what you think, its in my signature.
