    Sorry. busy at work right now.
    However, "the brake and battery light came on together" points to alternator, or wiring problem. Please see Charging System link on my signature. There are checkpoints you need to measure voltage at. All measured with black probe on ground. Let me know what you read.

    Terry told me you are great with electrical problems. I had a previous post regarding a no start problem. It turned out I installed a used ecu and the 88 22re started right up. That was yesterday5/19. I drove it all day. Then, the brake and battery light came on together. when I was idleing at a stop light the lights would go off. But when I accelerated, the lights would come back on. I drove it home and parked it for the night and went to bed. This morning I went out to start it and the battery is dead. this is the same thing that happened weeks ago when the original problem started. What would cause those dash lights to come on, drain the battery and burn out ecu's???
