Aloha Scope, got a question for you if you don't mind. What can it be if the idle goes up and down as if it is going to die. It does die sometimes if you don't keep your foot on the gas paddle. Do you know what can cause this to happen? Can you please get back to me on your earliest convience I would really appreciate it Thank you so much for your time!

Thanks for responding....I just recently had the top half of the motor overhauled due to blown heads. Ever since then I had a oil leak that started and now it is pretty bad. We took it in to get an estimate and mechanic said they really didnt know where the leak was coming from until he pull the front cover off. But he said it looks like it is leaking from the front main seal. So he was gonna replace all three seals but I can't afford it so gonna try and do it myself with a help of a friend. Hard to tell where the oil coming from too becuz the oil is all over the place. No I don't have a

I've got no voltage drop at the clock with doors open or close (~12v either way). The black with white stripe wire that comes out of the clock and becomes the power wire that goes to the light reminder relay, inspection socket, door lights, map light and dome light gives ~12volts with the door closed and drops to 0.34 volts with the door open.

Also there is no voltage drop at the cig or dome fuse when opening the doors. voltage is ~12+ volts either way.

From your diagnosis, what would you say is the problem and what's the next step in tracking in down?
