The sensor on the left has corrosion on the sensing tip that I'm afraid to clean off because it looks like it's already worn down from years of use.

The sensor on the right: The electrical connection core rotates a bit in the housing and the sensing tip seems to be damaged because I can feel a wire tip protruding from it.
