I will be testing the strength in the weakest part with a jack. Should lift the car a bit before starting to bend. It is very strong, I am confident :)

Took it for a test drive today to check clearances and enjoy the fruits of my labor. I Am very happy with the outcome. Articulation and behavior are significantly improved for offroad use. You can see the build in my build thread if you are interested.

Finally done with construction. Got my rear suspension mods started on Monday. Actually went well for the first piece of the puzzle. I will just drop a pic of the top shock mount tacked for test fit. :)

After a LOT of research, which honestly still left me to make some assumptions and guesses... I got these OME Shocks. They are for FJ80 and add 1 or 1.5 inch lift to the FJ89.
