plumbers putty used to check valve clearance later found out that the putty got on the head gasket and made it prematurely fail.....12 miles on the HG and it blew....

rebuilding 22r aisin carb and installing 20r (122) primary jet in 22r primary slot. run great but got about 10mpg!
