Sounds like you have a leak or air still in there. If not I would suspect the master cylinder is screwed.

Had the same problem with mine a couple times.

First time, I didn't realize there was a bleeder on the LSPV.

Second time I had a tiny leak between the halves of the front caliper. Replaced the caliper, all better.

had that problem on a cady, ends up being if you get air in the ABS block there are pockets in there that you cant get bleeding at home you have to power bleed the ABS block at a dealer, someone that has one anyway. Check your vac line, and make sure you bled in the right sequins.

I don't think 86s came with ABS so that wouldn't be an issue. If you've got a LSPV bleed that after bleeding all the brakes.

you are bleeding with the engine on arent you?

I still think you need to bleed it more... with the engine running.. start over... and do do the LSPV as well...

You think maybe the power brake booster went bad?

i just had to bleed my brakes this past weekend. i thought i got it all taken care of, only to find that i had to redo it again. after the second time, the lspv was the only thing that still had air in it, and it was amazing how much too. the fluid came out cloudy because of it all.

Sounds like a bad brake booster, since it's only "on" when the engine's running.

Bleed 'em again, and see where you get.
