86 2wd carbrated p/u needs help

86 2wd carbrated p/u needs help
since i got this truck for free, and i cant lift it and go mudding, i was thinking of swapping in another 4 cyclinder engine and try to get a good 1/4 mile time out of it. does anyone have any motor suggestions?

I don't know about the magic 1/4 mile, but you can tune your carb and replace the spark plug wires. That should give you a little more go-power.
