My driver and passenger carpets get wet and I'm looking for the source. I have ruled out external sources such as rain etc.. It is fresh, not heater core related coolent water. I believe it is condensate from A/C. Is there an external drain? If so, where? Thanks for all your help anything is appreciated!

 

There is an external drain. It's a tube that pokes through the firewall on the passenger side and drips on the frame. Trace it back and you might find your leak.

The other common problem spot on the Tacomas is the air inlet box at the base of your windshield (outside). That intake can begin to leak around the seams, allowing water in.

Both of these problems are pretty common.
