Hey guys, I just bought a 1985 axle for my 1987 truck. I have all of the parts for my SAS conversion. At this time I have the axle completely torn down and cleaned.
A bit about myself, I am impatient and think I know everything and that I can also figure stuff out on my own. I also think I have a photographic memory. All this stuff is so "UNTRUE". Have no clue why I keep lying to myself.
When I tore the axle apart I thought I would be able to figure out where all the gaskets, back plate eliminators as well as rock rings go, you know, the whole knuckle service kit . I have no clue, as I threw all the old gasket stuff away as well as any hints to how this thing goes back together.
Does anyone have any pics or "Good" diagrams as how these fit and in what order?
