L / R seatbelts the same?

Trivial question - are front passenger drivers and passengers seat belts the same part #? IE - can I use a replacement passenger on the drivers side?

Retract spring is weak.

Belts are not the same for left and right hand sides. I had to order a new one when the passenger side retractor finally let go, and I was given one for the driver's side. It would bolt up, but not quite right.

Get the right belt, seat belts aren't something to skimp on.

Don't know what vehicle you have, but I took apart one of my belts in the extended cab for the parts I needed. My extra cab was no longer suitable for seating so they were just going to waste back there.
