The most stupid thing that you've done to your Toyota

This can be anything that you regret doing to your Toyota.

Mine would either be the spraypaint paint job or blowing the engine up.

I can explain for the paint. I smashed a tree right below the passenger side extended cab, right below the window. It took off a nice size chunk of paint, also my paint was scratched to heck. So, my friends told me that I should just buy some spray paint that matched the color. Well long story short it didn't even come close to the color so we did my whole truck. Most people know the engine story!

3 punks in a new Jag decided to box me in and brake check me in my 98 Limited. At the stop light I said, "Nice car, I bet its yours."

So some dude got out and opened my door, so I slammed his finger in it, which pissed him off. He began to kick in my drivers door, over and over again.

I chased them into the Safeway parking lot, but couldnt get the plate because they had temp tags.

$1000 later, the door was fixed. Punks.

Power brake type burnout (w/ a 5spd!) with my locked rearend. After about 30 seconds into it one of my friends ran over and started pushing on the side of the bed, rotating the truck. After the rear end made 4 complete passes over the original burn out point I finally stopped, leaving a dark black circle 30-some feet in diameter and a lot of white smoke in the air. Didn't hurt anything, but I felt bad afterword.

Nope, clutch was good. I got out and climbed under there to have a sniff and I couldn't smell it. Can't say the same for the tires though... The trick is not to slip it, just hold some brake, wrap 'er up to about 4k and let the clutch out (don't dump it, but let it out quickly). Don't know about others, but this will set my rears on fire and I can sit there until the cows come home. Maybe I'll get a vid. clip of it next time I feel up to it, but like I said, makes my stomach kinda turn...

Well nothing major, but last summer I needed to put some Griot's Speed Shine (their version of a quick spray wax, also used for claying) on the passenger side to clear up something, can't remember the reason why.
It's in an old post here.

Instead of grabbing the Speed Shine, I grabbed the Griot's Paint Prep and did the whole passenger side of my rig.

I was wondering why the paint started to look funny when I realized I grabbed the wrong bottle.

Paint Prep is a wax remover & stripper.
Used before you wax, or before you paint a rig to get any grease & oils off the rig.

Needless to say, my heart sank real fast and I had to get out the Porter Cable and BOS wax and do the whole side real fast.

The two bottles look very much alike, and I just grabbed it by accident.

uhmmm, hit a fire hydrant. Luckily I did not het it hard enough for it to spout water all over the place. That would have sucked.

turboale,

Man, I hate to see that. Damn, I hate to ask, but how much water damage???

Well, heck. Mine pales in comparison.
The worst mod/dumbest looking addition was a "Powered by Toyota" decal on the back window. I scraped it off when my cousine asked, "what else would it be powered by?"

yup, definitly putting a HUGE TRD sticker on the front windshield. And then putting chinese characters on the side of the doors.

And I have to confess I wanted to put a huge dragon on the hood. Luckly I de-riced everything this past spring break.
