Question Rear wheel bearings

Does anyone know how difficult it is to redo rear wheel bearings on an '87 4-Runner? I have done the front several times without problems but I came across one article saying that the rear bearings had to be pressed on (and I would assume pressed off). This could present a small problem for this home mechanic...

Thanks.

Yup, you'll need a press and a special tool to get 'em off.

Nasty... I may be taking them in to get pressed then... I haven't been able to find a thread with instructions on how to do the entire job. Do you know of any threads or instructions I could look at?

I tried doing it on my press w/o the special tool and the backing plate kept bending. I really didn't want to break anything so I ended taking it in to a shop. Anyway here's an article that I read,
