22RE to 2JZGE swap

I've looked around abit, and haven't found a whole lot on this conversion. I've got a thread up on pirate4x4 as well, but it's not bringing forth as much info as i'd hoped.

Are there any write ups i'm missing about this swap?

I've got a 2JZGE w/ 30,000miles lined up out of a '97 supra for $500... you have any idea if this is a good deal?

Also, would anyone have any idea where i'd find a 2JZGE bellhousing?

thanks

-Jason

OMG a 2jz in a truck? a 2jzgte would be killer....

what's the highest practical HP used in offroading? i was just thinking of how 2jz's can stay drivable while pushing 600-800 hp and thats a lot more than what some people wheel with (22r).

these are both offtopic questions but...with around 700 hp...could you light up all 4 tires in 4wd?? i've never seen a truck of this size with that much power.... big deisels have it but they also have weight...lol.

It got brought up on another board I'm on about the actual "usability" of surpa engines in 4x4's.

The issue was that "car" and "truck" engines opperate in different bands. How many people scream along the trail at 4500RPM, and how many street racers are racing at 2000RPM? Because of this, motors that get put into trucks are built to rev lower, and same for street engines.

I know you can make up for it by gearing really low(ah...400:1 crawl ratios...), but it's still something to be pondered on.
