New to YotaTech and thought I'd share my rigs
DD is the 93 extended cab with 138k miles. Bought that one new. The 89 4runner followed me home last month for $1100. Had to pull a hub from the p/u to verify the front end, but so far everything works. It has 238k miles on it, and I haven't done any research into it's history yet. I've actually had 4 offers to buy the 4runner so far. One of them came less than 24 hours after parking it in the driveway! It has officially become a project. Both have 22RE motors with 5 speed transmissions, saggy rearends, and most everything else is stock with the exception of rims, tires, and radios. Both have issues that will need addressed in the near future and I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions. Hopefully that's where you guys come in and point me in the right direction.

First time I drove it to work with the top off, one of the women here said "I never noticed your truck had seats in the back like that, that's pretty neat." She looked pretty confused when I told her my truck didn't have seats in the back. I had to clue her in to the fact it was a different vehicle altogether. I still think she didn't believe me at first.

Welcome, Pokey! Nice rigs (I think they look like cousins though.
) Yotatech is a fun place -- you'll learn a lot here, and enjoy a few laughs, too.
BTW, I am a Kentucky native. Just recently rented the movie "Elizabethtown." I don't know why I just got around to seeing it, but thought a lot of it rang true. Never been to E-Town, but met lots of nice people from there when I was at UK. No matter where I roam, Kentucky is still home.

Nah don't repaint it, it looks nice. My dad and I used to both drive big Ford trucks that were exactly the same color red. It was pretty cool
BTW, I've never seen that stripe pattern on a 4Runner before...

Thanks for all the compliments and the welcome. Means alot what with all the awesome rigs on here.
Rustbucket: Don't know about the stripes on the 4runner. Not sure they're original as the PO painted it several years ago. Wish he would have fixed the fender wells and rockers first!
4mydogs: KY native, huh? What part? I moved back here in 96 after getting out of the Navy. Oh yeah, UK Rocks!

Paint ???
Don't change the color on the runner b/c that blue eis awesome if your gonna "paint" it get a sprayed on bedliner material in the matching color done inside and out since it will be your trail rig and it will make clean up mucho easier
