Fab Four Front Bumper Installed

Ok, well I installed my front bumper on Friday in Durango, had a great time, ran into Rod and Robbie of the FJ Trail Team.

Installation instructions will be done on Monday and I will post them.

It Fit like a glove, Fog Lights and Turn Signals are great.

Great approach, matches to the stock skid plate perfectly.

I have 100's of photos, need to resize them.

With the bumper zero sag, added the winch went down 1/4 inch, once I get rid of the cable and go rope I think it will pop back up or I will adjust the DR's if needed.

The powder coat is amazing a new process and mixture really nice, these guys have their act together, they plan on being on this site early next week.

They have front bumpers ready ship, with Hella lights, instructions and powder coated for 1150.00

If you have any questions PM.

The Fab Four Team is outstanding, I had a great time.

One more thing, I installed the winch after the bumper was on, then put the grill back on.

By any chance, did you happen to take photos of the backside of the bumper? I'm specifically looking at the mounting tabs to the front of the fj.

Looks good btw I really dig the tough look!

I love the bumper. That might be my favorite that I've seen for the FJ.

I'm curious about those hella light buckets that have the turn signals in them - has anyone seen those available separately? That would solve some design issues for what I'm planning... (non-FJ related)

saw that bumper (or at very least something extremely similar to it) going down the road. i nearly drove into oncoming traffic because it made the front of that FJ look SOOOO much better! i was hypnotized by its secksy cool looks!

i love it, props man on a great vehicle, wish i could afford one, but i just bought me a 98 'runner.

That bumper is very cool

I am getting a bit jealous about how much aftermarket support the Fj is getting. Makes me want one. ( wonder if my wife heard that )

I guess this is what happens when they design a vehicle to be used off road instead of us mod'ing them to be used off road.

Again, that thing rocks!

Outstanding bumper. How long did it take to install? If I had one thing to change on my new FJ it would be the front bumper. That's a lot of plastic out in front on the trail. Looks-wise it balances the car but it's not very practical.

I've got the 2WD auto version. This may be a stupid question but can a crawl ratio be determined with an automatic when I have it in LL in 4L? I've asked the head mechanic at the dealership and he didn't have a clue.

Once again, great looking bumper and wench.

Paul

www.fabfours.com

installation was easy, wiring the lights took the longest, they were also writing the instruction manual so a little more time.
