Copper Coat good for Head Gasket?

I am about to finish replacing the HG and was wondering if I need the copper coat to be on the HG? I heard someone mention that do not put copper coat on it but I don't know so anyone here ever use it before or what esle they have use? It so wierd that my both head gasket look fine and is causing coolant leak into cylinder but I thinking that previous mechanic did something wrong so I hope I won't do the same as him so I'm curious if I need to use copper coat to be coat on the HG, thanks for the advance.

I, do not use Copper Coat on HG. No sealant of any type is needed. I, only use it on solid metal gaskets like copper, steel, etc. The hg for the 3.0 has sealant of the face of it.
