Where to connect that missing tach cable

Here is a picture of where I attached my tachometer cable under the hood on the coil cable cluster. Picture taken from behing the coil. Its the blue connector with the yellow wire coming from the terminal.

Can you go into more detail on how to wire this up. I have the gauge cluster but Im pretty sure my truck isn t wired up for a tach.

I ran a wire from the cluster to the wire shown above. The cluster has a place that you can find in the factory shop manual, that you have to add the wire. I don;t remeber how I knew where to plug it in or where to attach it.

(0)(0)(0)
(x)(0)(0) <--- connector
l
[firewall]
l
[sr5 cluster]


the x marks the wire that you need to attach the tach wire to. I put a fuse in line, just in case.

Thanks I figured it out. alot easier than I thought!!! Now I hope I adjusted my tach correctly..

Yeah, I thought mine was, but I am not taking that dash apart again. It isnt off enough to bug me.
