How do you tell if intake gasket isleaking?

I had to take my plentium off my 3.0 to fix a valve cover gasket. I did not replace the intake gasket. I just put on rebuit heads so it has not been on there that long. It is running rough so I am wondering if it is the intake gasket?

An old trick i have used in the past is to spray carb cleaner around the questionable surface. If the idle goes up at any point of the spraying, you gots a leak son.

Just make sure you dont do like i did the first time and accidently spray to close to the carb throat and the overspray cause the idle to rise. Spent quite a few minutes tring to find the leak again.
