Got the cutting wheel out, trimmed the fenders

I noticed a very slight rub, I had taken the pinch weld out but notice the tires hit, so out came the cutting wheel, some urethane primer and flat black paint.

I snipped it out squared it off, primed and painted the freshly cut area flat black. I think it looks better, making the tires look less stuffed it, also has provided the clearance I needed.

Here are a couple pictures:

My tires did that for me on the first run with them..

What are your plans to cover that hole into the frame? I haven't really come up with anything yet.

Tim, have you seen the Trails Less Traveled Fender Trimming writeup? Why not continue the trimming right around, then do the rear? It would give you a ton of room, I think TLT fit 35's.

I have not seen that, or maybe I have? the red tacoma?

I do not want to get in that deep

I am thinking about doing a body lift, but am torn between 1 and 2 inch

not sure what has to be modded for each body lift size,,,,

I may do a 2 inch, I really am not sure, would like to see a couple rigs in person

that one guy from Ct. I think has a 2 inch

and Lee, thank you for the feedback, 1 inch might be the easiest way to go, without doing futher mods, I do want it to be simple

how long did it take you to do?

not long.

taking apart the interior to get to the body bolts technically takes longer than actually installing the BL.
