Floor mats, opinions

I got a dumb question. What kind of floor mats is everyone using? I would like to buy some new ones, but I have no idea which ones. Currently I have some cheapie Wally World tan 4 piece tan ones. Dirty as ever and they don't stay still. I would like to buy some that keep the dirt on the mat and don't move. What do you guys think? Like husky or something along those lines.

i bought some clear ones at pepboys with real deep tread for about 10-15 ea (driver/passenger) I have been very happy with them except that they do not stay very clear (about 2 years old now)

Edit: I may consider the HuskyLiner line of products for front/rear mats in the future, but I purchased the HuskyCargoLiner from autoanything.com and have not felt the same great feelings for it. It may be that it is a larger area, but it doesnt sit flush to anything and the sides (about 2.5 in high) do not stay standing up all the time, they droop inwards. It fits, but it just doesnt look very fitting.

I second that. They fit perfectly, don't move and keep the water/slush off the carpet. I'm sold on them

For twenty bucks at costco, they have awesome floormats made by kraco. They don't move at all and they claim to hold a gallon of water. Best floormats I've ever seen for the price. I like them better than my friends husky liners.

If you want the best, get Husky liners. They are worth the extra money.

Thanks for all the input guys. It looks like everyone is really happy with Husky. Is there anything I should know before buying them? Like sit them out in the sun to warm them up or anything?

^ nah, they are pre-molded to the contor of your floor. They fit like a glove right out of the box. All you have to do is admire them once there put in.

I tore my interior out completely! No floormats...solid metal. I LOVE IT.
Kinda loud for a 97 Tacoma though....oh yeh, girls hate it but who the hell cares what women think about your truck anyhow.

Yeah I kinda like the carpet in mine, so tearing it out, um yeah NO!! Thanks for all the info on the floormats. looks like my 4runner is beginning to be more expensive (with everything that I am buying for it) than a girlfriend. Maybe that is why I don't have one!! Good thing too, she would get jealous. ha gotta love it

I would have to agree that these are the best for the money, and they fit the 00 4Runner well.

HUSKY LINERS - best $76.50 plus tax (CDN funds) I ever spent. Perfect fit - can hold about an inch of water...protects the carpet beautifully. Perfect for a tradesman and fisherman such as myself.

husky liners are a bit pricey in my opinion. you can find similar quality for a fraction of the cost. I have some deep tread mats from kragen (front and back). got the whole set for something like $20 on sale.
