So my old clutch basically came apart in a horror show, it was a wonderfully horrible sight. My new clutch feels great and I love it. It doesn’t feel like it has any problems. But there are a couple of weird noises. In the morning when I start it up and back up there is a pretty loud squeak that sounds like the Tin man meets Rick Van Winckle or a honeymoon couple that first night on a cruise, then though first and seconded till the truck heats up it makes a higher pitch squeak while shifting (Letting the clutch out after a shift). Then there are two more sounds. Down shifting it makes a noise that the clutch disks are chattering like hitting one another and getting pushed away or something in there vibrating. It also makes kinda the same noise something like a rattle when I'm out of gear coasting. Any Ideas?

I've been driving it as little as possible. My friend did the work looks like I need to give it back to him.

 

Looks like he needs to search on this forum & figure out what the heck he's doing....

 

any adjustments made? 'sounds' like its needed.

 

Yeah I agree I think somethings a little out of whack. The ol' Runner needs a little more work so I'll just have him look at it while we're putting on a new u-joint
