4cyl Fuel Filter
#2
filter location
Mine is under the intake manifold. I've got a 98 4cyl 4Runner with 130,000 miles. I've bought the filter, but it seems almost impossible to change. I'd like to hear how other people have changed thiers....

Thats what I thought...
I also thought there was one under the truck but I want to make sure before I replace the one by the intake.
I am in the midst of changing the Head Gasket and figured I would change the Fuel Filter while the intake was off. Just wasn't sure thats where it was.......

yeah I had my filter changed when I had a head replaced it's under the intake manifold and behind the starter Childres manual says you gotta take off the starter, what a pain. I'm gonna pull my motor to get some leak problems solved and a couple other thing . I think I'm gonna see if I can relocate filter onto fender well
