weekend schedule and a couple of questions

Well i think I will finially get to making the sway bar disco's ive been thinking of and hopefully get some low profile bumpstops on too. Now for my question, does any one have a rear IFS brace? I know that lift kits come with them and some even come with replacement front ones. This is the only one that ive seen for a stock height 89-95 IFS. http://www.brian894x4.com/rockstomperIFSbrace.html Does anyone else here have one like it?
Thanks

Back when I had my '90 truck, I ran a NWOR front IFS brace and the one for the rear pumpkin.

The rear was mainly for looks, but the front one really did work, and my rig stayed in alignment for 110K until it got totaled.

I won't buy from them anymore, but the brace was of high quailty.
I had to drill 4 holes down there to mount it.

That is probably one of the good items that NWOR does offer, it's just a matter if you want to deal with them or not.

They have rotten customer service.
I'm sure they know that, as I have a feeling they have been here before

Little Joe the admin over at ODW runs the IFS brace from Rockstomper, and I think he is pleased with it.

Did you make a custom under the diff skid plate too? In that article that guy talked about one and if I get the brace I will probably make one along with a custom front skid and mabe a custom fuel tank skid to replace the stock ones since there kinda weak.
Thanks

I did order a custom light gold colored skid plate that replaced the stock thin one from Toyota.

I can't remember if it bolted onto the IFS brace I put on or not, as I have not had that truck since October of '98, and I stopped doing my own oil changes on it in '95.

It was a beefy skid plate though.
If you are looking for a beefy 2nd gen skid plate for up front, hold off and wait for Mike's (azrain) design.
I'm sure you have seen his 3rd gen design by now.
It's the beef.

Now that rear brace I had was actually kind of cool looking, and it will work on this rig too I think, but I am not sure if it really offers any protection or not, but it has a skid plate built onto the bottom of it.
It was called an Axle Truss, but there are no pics on their very lame website.
