broken u-joint grease nipple

i have no idea how or when this happened but i was underneath the truck yesterday and noticed that my grease nipple on my ujoint has snapped off. is there a way to fix this aside from replacing the entire ujoint?

You can buy grease nipples, getting the broken bit out is the hard part.

usually an EZ-out is the best bet. however, i've gotten lucky and had zerks that got smacked and loosened up, and i could remove the broken piece with my fingers.

Zerk fitting is the technical name, but I just like saying the word 'nipple'
