Request for Information: Downey Adj Coil Overs?
I have been looking into replacing my Sway-a-Ways and am looking into my options. I am well aware of most like the OEM/Tundra set up and have even installed one on a Taco. What I cannot find is good info on the Downey coil overs. Not even any well worded opinions of them. I guess that says something but I would like some imput if I can get it.
Good.... Bad..... My buddy has a set and likes them...........
Thanks for any help you all may have!
I dare someone to say search it! Just kidding

Don't recall anyone specifically but have read that they sag w/ more than stock weight like your TJM. I've also read the rears don't hold up all that well to extra weight.
If you're gonna swap out the SAWs and the price difference isn't crazy, just get the Hoes...

Yes the Donahoes are nice. I had a set on my Taco and was an idiot form not taking them off before I put it for sale. It sold within a week for over asking price so I didn't get a chance to swap them out for a spacer lift. They were great.
Just not into the heim joints on the bottom of most coil overs. They wear out pretty quickly IMO. That is one reason I was looking into the Downeys. They have a factory style rubber bottom mount. Just make sense to me.
