lift done. still lots of work to go tho
well this weekend i got my 1.5 inch roger brown lift installed. installation took a while (9 hours total) but no major problems. thanks a lot to andy (alee27) for all his help.
then today i had a special bracket made so i could fit the crush bumper (not sure if it's called that, but that metal bumber under the exterior bumper) and grille guard would fit with the body lift. i still have to get some gap guards.
and last week i did the maglite mod so i have a full size flashlight in the back help up with a maglite clip.
so here are a couple pictures.
i still have to drop the radiator 1.5 inches, and maybe extend the 4wd shifter so it won't sit so low on the inside.
and i'm going to see if i can just enlarge the holes in back bumper so the spare tire will still be accessible with that key that lowers it.
also, deckplate mod....i hope to get that done next week.
dang, that's a lot of modding
i better take it easy for a while after all that
