Fuel filter brand matter?

am finally getting around to replacing my fuel filter; am using purolator brand, does it really matter? Purolator or Denso? I know OEM is best, but hate to throw this one away...

You already said the answer. OEM is the best then go for the best OEM, Made in Japan fuel filter is best.

I use OEM, but have also had no trouble while using WIX oil and fuel filters.

See page 5 in this PDF: http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...nce/2maint.pdf

It's a PITA. Be sure to remove the negative battery terminal & relieve fuel pressure before you start! Be prepared to get soaked with gasoline. Have a bucket to collect the runoff.

I know the 93 FSM helps with a lot of different year trucks, but I don't think it will help much with a 2003 4-runner
