SOLD '84 2L, 2.4L diesel front clip
Front clip of an '84 4wd pickup, factory diesel. Bolts in place of 22r/re. Uses w56 trans. Complete front clip with all wiring, instru. cluster, etc MINUS the trans and transfer case. Truck frame rusted in half and vehicle was parked, engine ran at time the time it was retired. Orginal owner took good care of truck, you can still see some recently replaced shinny parts under the hood.
Engine has about 190K on it, but if you know about these RARE diesels then you know they are a very long lasting motor.

The truck had a standard in it. W56.

It is N/A. The second generation engine for diesel pickups in the US. The first was the 1L-a big POS. 2L was a really great engine. I dont know if any of you have seen the top gear video of the diesel p/u with a 2L in it that they try to destroy and cant. The video has been on tacomaterritoy.com for a while. Well if you have seen it then I'm sure it built up your confidence in the 2L.
