Hey guys i just got some 33x12.5 BFG A/T a couple of weeks ago and decided i need some more lift! BJ Spacers, OME Shocks, OME901s. tell me what yall think about my runner!

With 33s and 3in Body



and this is how it sits today with BJ Spacers up front and OME 901s out back!

Looks nice, but is it normal to have such large weights for 33's (Left rear) why not use the tape weights, but aside from that they look great

 

hahah i got the wheels off a wrecked runner and when i balanced them at the shop they were way off like 6oz on one side and 3oz on the other.. there is actually stick on weights on the outside! imma look into getting them balanced again and try to get them without so many weights on the outside

There are other ways to balance your tires if you need that much weight and don't want all that bling on your rims. There are special powders available to put inside your tire (special meaning they won't clog your fill tube or corrode your tire from the inside). Usually the only people that need to use this powder method are running 35"+ tires.

 

hmm... never heard about this powder stuff, Ill have to ask the boss about that today

its only a body lift for now.. im planning on just doing OME lift after this

how did you keep your rear bumper from sagging?

hmm... the bumper doesnt sag.. i took it off for a while and had just the trailer hitch but it didnt look to good so i "Line-X" it (gritty spray paint) and painted over it with the black. As for the rear it does sag about 2 inches lower then the front! thats soon to be gone thanks to the help of OME901s

its the 3in Performance Accessories Lift. While they dont make drop kits for the auto, I had mine fabbed up. Its dropped by 2 19mm Deep Sockets and the top linkage that goes to the shifter was lenghtened and weld by some kids down the street for my old stock intake tubing.. since i bought a new pipe from Philip (cootes). I got the welding priced at a 4x4 shop and they wanted atleast 150 to weld it so that worked out alright!

 

oh ok thanks, i was wondering how it was that your rear bumper isn't three inches lower than your body since it is mounted on the frame correct?

 

no its mounted to the body if you look close the trailer hitch hanges 3 inches lower then the bumper where when it was stock it was flush against the bumper

yeah no problem! if you look under the rear of the truck it is held in by 4 bolts
