Bentup.com REAR bumper pics!

Well, its almost 100% done.

Looks sweet as hell. Its welded up, and it needs lotsa grinding to it still. Then it needs lights recessed into it (Ill post a pic later) and backup sensors mounted.

AJ cut the tupperware rear bumper in order to save the upper section. It still snaps into the body just fine, and the bumper also holds it in on the bottom half of the plastic...

I didn't intend on going up there today, it was either stay home and work on my Tacoma, or go up there and help and take some pics...also AJ got a new welder....I LOVE it, it makes MY welds look good. Really easy to use, and SUPER powerful. I was having so much fun just welding away with it....

There will be a flip-down step added on each side for a better access to the roof rack...

The "master" at work...

This FJ also has a jerry can setup on his roof rack....kinda cool.

Couple more pics....

Backup lights will get recessed into the corners...

The owner of this FJ painted up his rear spare tire cover, looks pretty nice.

He already has a Revtek lift, and is running 295/70/17's on it. They are Toyo Open Country MT's.

He is getting front and rear bumpers, and sliders....ALL powdercoated.

That is some serious dollars! Looks like it will be a bad A## rig though. Keep us posted on how it comes along. Not really into the blingin rims but to each their own.

Looking good Andy.
The steps on the back are a nice addition.
Are you having a hitch put in too?

I like how the jerry can mounts were done too on the other FJ.
Looks pretty easy to do that myself, as it was pretty easy to add mine to my Yakima rack.

I will have to look and see if my current one mounts like that or not.
On 2nd thoughts, might be best to get a new one.
Mine is red and all faded.

There will be a reciever added in....not sure how. AJ was thinking possibly coming off the back of the bumper and having it removeable...vs mounting it underneath and making it 'rock-bait'....

I met up with some FJ folks this weekend at Frank Raines; afterwards, I headed up to Bentup to (hopefully) begin the fabrication of a front skid plate.... (yes, we got a good start, but Im not posting ANYTHING till its all done....lol)

When I got there, the Yellow FJ was in the shop getting all the bling installled...so the next 2 hours were spent installing the front and rear bumpers, sliders, winch, control box, front lights, and rear backup lights. All metal was powdercoated, and turned out awesome.

I am seriously jealous....I want it all, and I want it NOW!

i really like the design of that rear bumper ,i might have to add that to my list of goodies.

and i actually like the round tube sliders from bent up more so then the all pro ones , depending on price i may go with bentup for my sliders.

thats badass...those bumpers look absolute killer! i especially love the lines of the front bumper hoops & the hybrid oem plastic/steel rear setup...wasnt too fond of the oversized all steel rear design.
it'd be pimp to see some wheel arch tubing tie the sliders & bumpers together. is that factory rear tire carrier gonna be enough to hold that 17" meat?

anyway...keep the pics comin' with all the added blingage
