chassis/body differences 94 + 95

picked up a set of 95 repair manuals, figuring vol. 2--chassis/body/elec might work for my 94. i know the taco is a 95 1/2. this manual doesn't say taco, so is it identical to the 94, or were there minor differences? says applicable models are RN80, 90, 101, 110 series; VZN90, 100, 110 series. my present 94 vol. 1 (engine) lists those models plus RN 106, and the covers look identical. it seems to me if toyota were bringing out the taco as a mid-year model, the 95 pickup wouldn't have changed from 94.

got both repair manual volumes and a elec wiring diagram volume for the 95, i'll keep volume 2 if it can work for me and unload the rest.

thanks in advance to the historians in the group.

I would imagine the 94 & 95 pickups are virtually identical in every sense of the word, perhaps minor differences in the ECU and perhaps option packages available, but very little I would imagine. I would think that 95 would just be a carry over year from any 94 changes considering they knew they were bringing the Tacoma out in 95 1/2.
My best guess based on reason and the fact my uncle owns a 95 and I own a 93, and his truck is virtually identical to mine down to the model, options offered, even colour, etc.

yeah, that's what i figured. nathan's 93 manual online matches up with my 94 FSM almost exactly, so the last couple of years of the p/u seemed real close. and it would make sense for toyota to continue unchanged at this point.
thanks.

Agreed, not sure there was any thing different.
