Friend just purchased a 97 4runner with keyless entry. The previous owners had lost the key fob. First thing he did was go to replace a blinker light and he disconnected the battery in the process. Now when he hooks the battery back up the factory alarm gos off (starts honking) and he can't find a way to turn it off. We tried leaving the battery hooked up and all doors closed and locking/unlocking driver's side to see if that would turn it off. It didn't. He can't drive it (much less hook the battery up) without it going berserk. How else can we disable it? Please help!!

Its a SecuriKey+ and he has the manual but its not telling him anything!

 

find the brain or relay and rip it out...and by rip it out i mean pull some wires out, make sure you know where they go
