Good, even tread left and about 10k easy street miles. WAY more than half the tread left - more like 3/4 of the original tread or more. No repairs, punctures, etc. Perfect shape including no chunks, etc missing from the treads.
Why am I changing it? Because I'm running 305's on a alloy spare and I want to have a matching tire to do a 5-tire rotation. This one was part of a set on waskillywabbit's 2000 runner. I got them when he sold his runner and then I kept the 5th one as a spare to use with my 305's. It's now up for grabs since I have (1) new 305 in my garage and (4) more new ones on the way to me.
As a side note: The last time I had it balanced was over a year ago, but I have put ZERO miles on it since then.
I'm thinking that it's worth about $125 since a new one is over $200 now and I can deliver to SE4RJ3 if needed. If it doesn't sell on here or the other forums, then it'll go on ebay in a week or so. I'm getting (4) 305 MT/R's shipped from Long Island to East TN this week by FedEx for $110 total ($27.50 each) to give you an idea of what it costs to ship them.
Tire has 14/32" Tread (7/16" deep)
New 285's only have 17/32" from the factory!!!
This thing has more than 3/4 of the original tread left! Pleanty of life left!
