(4) Goodyear Wrangler MT/R LT305/70-R16
Good, even tread left and about 20k easy street miles. Two are worn slightly more than the other two, but overall all 4 have WAY more than half the tread left. No repairs, punctures, etc. Perfect shape including no chunks, etc missing from the treads.
Tires 1 & 2 = 16/32" Tread (1/2" deep)
Tires 3 & 4 = 13/32" Tread (more than 3/8" deep)
New 305's only have 19/32" from the factory!!!
These have somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 of the original tread left! Pleanty of life left!
Why am I changing them? Because I can. I change tires when they wear half-way, just a personal rule to keep good treads on every vehicle I own. I have another set of 305 MT/R's on the way to me this weekend, so these have to go.
As a side note: The last time I went in for a balance, the shop told me that one was "unable to balance". The shop was lazy and didn't try to rotate it on the rim and keep trying and still charged me for the balance.
Actually, you only feel the vibration in it at about 30-35 MPH and about 65-70 MPH - only at those speed ranges. It may be the tire/rim combination and it may not. This tire balanced fine up until about 2k miles ago and I was negligent in my rotations (waited about 7k to cross-rotate) and it developed a slight bounce. It's better now that it's on the rear and has a few more miles on it in the opposite spin direction, but the bounce is still there somewhat and I want the potential new buyer to know about it. It should eventually go away as the wear pattern decreases in prominence.
I'm thinking that they're worth about $450 or so as a set (retail is about $1100 for 4 plus taxes) and I can deliver to SE4RJ3 if needed. If they don't sell on here or the other forums, then they'll go on ebay in a week or so. I'm getting (4) shipped from Long Island to East TN this week by FedEx for $110 to give you an idea of what it costs to ship them.
Sorry, but at this point I will NOT split them up unless you find buyers for all 4 tires.

i think i have a buyer + an alternate. on ebay a few hours and now i've got offers out the wazoo.
