Waggy springs on my 85?(already searched)
I tried the search and only found D44 waggy info for 3rd gen's...
I'm looking for some experienced opinions/info on 6 leaf packs from a grand wagoneer.
I have an 85 truck(on 84 4runner frame) with about 5" of lift currently. Custom leafs rear/store bought fronts.
I already have 6 leaf, complete packs that are in great shape, but I've recieved mixed info on whether or not these would ride decent on the street(not going to see much street action anyway).
Has anyone used these? Would it benefit to remove a leaf or two for ride comfort/articulation? My fronts are a little short as is, so I won't mind if the shackle got kicked back a tad.
I would assume the rears are a lot longer, so I am sure I will be making some hangers for the rear. But will the fronts fit as it sits? I haven't taken any measurements yet, I thought I'd ask for some tips/advice here first.
pic of the heap, for views

pulled this off pirate 4x4
44044 Springs
44044s are Rancho Jeep Wagoneer Lift Springs.
Length: 47” (Length is eye to eye)
Center Pin split (front/rear) 22.5"/24.5"
Bushing: 2 3/4” & 3”
Lift: 5.25 - 5.5” (Lift is approximate and uses 1.5” longer than stock shackles giving 3/4” of lift)
Cost: $250 (Cost is for both sides incl. shipping/give or take)
44044's do not (by themselves) move your axle forward. They are the same length on the front half as stock toys (22.5"). While they do move the axle forward because of the lift they provide, when they compress to the point that they are flat, it's the same." Estimated 1/2" of actual axle relocation forward.

thanks for the info. I think after taking some measurements that I amd going to only use the fronts. they are about 1 inch longer than my current fronts and my shackle is a bit too vertical anyway so this will help in more than one way. I may pull the bottom leaf to soften it up a bit...
thanks again for the help
