Help me pick! Wheel options (5)
ok, so im looking at some new wheels for my 1999 SR5 4x4 4runner. Its the silver/gold color (i think its called sand mica?) anyhow, I found 5 wheels I like. But I am open to other suggestions. The 5 I found are the limited wheels (possibly powder coated) (1), american racing 2 tone teflon wheels (2), the land cruiser wheels (3), the ivan stewart TRD wheels (4) and my favorite, the Nissan Xterra super charged wheels (5). The nissan wheels should fit, I looked over a set at the local dealer, but I am not sure of the back spacing (i will have to check) so vote and let me know which ones you like.
But, I might scrap the first 4 becasue there are alot of rigs out there with them. I would really like to run a set of wheels that not many guys are riding, hence the xterra wheels. They look like the land cruiser wheels but have a slimer spoke and have a nice bead lock look. BUT! (as there always is) the Xterra wheels are 17s. Which would be nice, but kill the idea of me runngin the 255/85r16s. Im not sure what size I would need for the 17s. But i want something thats big and wont rub. So it sorta puts a damper on the xterra wheels.
Let me know guys.

I vote:
1. xterra (if you remove the nissan...) (because it's good to be different...sometimes).
2. LC or limited
3. American Racing Mojave teflon

4. older xterra soft 4 spokes

5.American Racing Moab forged

Those nissan wheels are kind of uhh, i do think they look good in gunmetal though - that would be original on a runner. Of the other choices I would say the Ivan Stewart. The others are being used too much
edit: mojave teflon or the limited wheels powdercoated goldish

Actually I really like the Eagle Alloys. They look pretty good and they're supposed to be very reliable. Personally I like the 187, 136, and the 58 series wheels. Check em out http://www.aewheel.com/default.cfm?id=2

If you like the 2 tone American Racing wheels, I would also look at the teflon Crator(sp?) one of my choices when looking at wheels, or have you also thought about swapping in 17s from a new 4Runner, I have seen a few people do that too, and if you want 17s, with a factory look, that might not be a bad choice.

Limited probably would be your most cost effective choice but maybe the Xterra wheels but in the gunmetal color since that would be the most original choice as I've yet to see any Toyota with them.
