3.4 out of a 95 t-100 into a 91 4 runner

I located a 3.4 out of a 95 T-100 manual to make the swap into my 91 manual 4 runner . I think I can get the 3.4 for $800. It has 147,000 miles with 185 lbs of compression. I know there is a lot of info out there on how to do this. It is either that or rebuild my 3.0 which I will have maybe half that much or more into the rebuild. Any suggestions? I plan on keeping the 4 runner for a long time but currently it is getting 13 mpg and needs some major work.

I only paid 900, plus shipping for one from a 02, this was is 02, tundra. It had 12K on it...price seems a but high for a 11 year old motor with 147K

Go to www.offroadsolutions.com they have complete kit, and they arent cheap....

I ended up selling the motor I bought a year later for 1400...

Where did you find that one? Maybe I will shop around a bit more. Have you ever done the swap?
