Check Engine, SuperCharger & K&N

I continue to get a check engine light with error code P0171. Which is lean. I have cleaned my MAS with electrical cleaner and replaced both 02 Sensors twice over the span of 4 - 6 months. This appears to clear the error code, but about a month and a half later, the check engine light comes on again with the same error.

What else can I check? I am thinking of removing my K&N filter charger with my factory air cleaner stuff today. Could the combination of the K&N with the supercharger be causing this? I have had the K&N since new, the supercharger was installed about 2 years ago now.

What do you all think?

Did you ever do any fuel mods to support the SC? How many miles have gone by since you put the SC on?

make sure your K&N is oiled properly. I had the same lean code on my taco with just a K&N. Without the oil on the filter it lets more particles in and it plugs up the MAF. so just oil the K&N and clean the MAf and your problems sould go away.

Don't over oil the filter. All that excess oil along with the dirt trapped in there will "f" up your MAF. Yeah, any fuel mods with your SC?

I would change out that K&N for a Truflow or an Amsoil filter.....you should get constant P0171s with either of those. You'll probably have to clean off your MAF sensor again because it is likely dirty again from the K&N air filter oil. If you still get the same code even after changing filters and cleaning doesn't help, you may need to replace the MAF (lucky for you, they're cheap).
