Angry 1st gen 4runner needs roofrack!

hey gang, i'm needing a roofrack for my 88 yota fourrunner so i can strap down my canoe can't seem to fine one for a first gen runner any remarks will be helpful thanks ! vinnie

Short of bolting into the cap you'll be hard pressed for other options... the fiberglass gutters can only take so much before they rip away.

Any standard rack will work. You will need to buy false gutters and screw them into the top...use silicon gasket maker, the clear kind, and that will seal them great...mine have been on for 16 years and no leaks yet.

I have a yakima set up, with gutter clamps, tubes and bike rack...it works well...
