I am in the middle of replacing my 3VZ but on the new reman. block there are no holes for the top motor mount bolts on either side. The bottom 2 holes line up fine. It is stamped 3VZ on the block just like the old one. Do i have to get another engine or can it be run with just the 2 bottom holes or can the :pat: motor mounts be changed.

What engine did I ge? I thought there was only one 3VZ! Is it a different year model or what?

 

ya there is an early block version from like 88 that has diffrent motor mounts.

its been talked about before, even some pics posted. my try the search...
