I do not have one, but the ones I have seen kind of mount up like the top mounts on a WAAG, right to the bolts on the top bumper fillerright behind the grill(yes the plastic piece on top of the metal bumper). This should come up with a body lift is that's what your getting at. I am not 100% sure, but someone around NJ has one, and I have eyed it in parking lots a few times. As far as I can tell, that's how it goes. and it is pretty sturdy(suprisingly)

You mean this one?

Looks like it has straps that hook to the top back lip of the bumper and bottom screws in above the license recess...Don't know for sure though.

Thats the one, im just eyeing how they mount to see how hard it would to make my own versus shelling out that chunk of $$$ for a metal bar.

i had a jaos lamp stay for my 92 that i got from burtmanindustries. it mounted to the frame in the front then came out of the valence and also had two hooks that attached to the bumper. although it looks like the mounting for the 3rd gen may be different.. this thing was awesome, great look as it was very subtle and you didnt even notice it. for quality, an easy 9 out of 10..(the 10th guy was later found dead) strong as heck too. you could shake the whole truck with this thing it was that sturdy.

well i think you should contact jason burtman to see if he knows for sure, but looking at this jaos website some goes in front and through the valence, and other seems to maybe tuck under the gap in the grille or possibly through the grille and down to a mounting point.
