Anybody know what the thread and size of these four hold down bolts for the front skid plate are?

just go into the stealer and ask them, they gave me a set when i was in picking up parts i had ordered.

They're the ones that lost them and don't have any in stock. .

Demand that they replace them. They sure as hell can order some. Drive without the skidplate until they get them. I know you use a 13mm wrench to get them off. I cant remember the thread size though- damn, I had to buy a few recently. If I figure it out, I'll let you know.

Had a problem with that stealership big time. Bell Road Toyota in Phoenix. In fact had to go through Toyota USA in CA to get it resolved-which they did with a goodwill check. Anyway, nobody has those suckers and all they have is a part number listed, no size. Hence why I'm asking.

No my AKA is not referencing the band. :drum: But rather a classic tv show. .

I think they're M10, but not sure which thread pitch. All the auto parts places have a cross reference to the wrench size.

I have one broken off, 2 factory (13mm wrench) and one "other" (12mm wrench). I'm just going to drill the holes out and replace with some selftapping bolts.

When the dealer said "OK, here's your vehicle, but we lost the bolts for the skidplate," you should have said "wrong, try again."

I just put some 5/16" self tapping bolts I had leftover from the sliders in there - pretty damn close.

Note: The Toyota fasteners seems to run one wrench size smaller than what you can buy out there. So, if you use a 12mm wrench on the factory ones, it will probably be a 13mm for the replacements.

 

Do you always give out bad information, or are you just not too bright? Honestly.

BTW, I demanded a lot more than a handful of hardware from that dealership, and I have the check stub prove it.
