Anything is possible, there are a few have already turbo charged their cars, there are others who are working on it. We recently just found a company who sold a turbo kit for the 3VZE for around $2500. Use the search feature, you'll find the answer to your question.

Between the head gasket issues, and the exhaust crossover which may be causing them, I would avoid force feeding a 3.slow just because your going to tear through head gaskets, and worse you may experience what happened to me, my head gasket went, and from the looks of it filled the no. 6 cylinder with coolant and hydrolocked throwing a rod right through the side of the block. Its your money, but I wouldnt recommend it, if you have cash to space put in the 2 inch body lift and swap in a 3.4 5vz-e or fe i cant remember which it is. That motor is far better suited to force feeding than the 3vze, it even has a TRD supercharger for it.

Goodluck with your truck

quakefire..thanks man.... that would be pretty cool.... 3.4 turbo charged 2-door....

if i wait till my 3.0 dies... i might end up going to a JDM Landcruiser with the turbo.

Glad to see another fellow calgarian on here...

hey hill. You could certainly go for that turbo kit and so far as the crossover problem goes you could try a header. The thorley relocates the crossover further aft between the tranny and tcase I think. I've been discussing this with my wrench bender for some time now and we're looking at a supercharger set up. The turbo won't really make any difference until the revs get north of 2500 at least while the supercharger will make boost all the time. That being said this turbo kit that is available now is interesting. anyhow thats my $0.02. Aviator

I looked into turbo'ing my 3VZE for ages, and actually had bought a turbo, water to air intercooler, and had the V6 running on WOLF 3D progrmable engine management (the new computer gave a 20% increase in horsepower alone). But my V6 crapped itself before I got the turbo manifold made due to a dodgy tune the original guy done on the engine management.

So I sold all the turbo crap and blown V6 and went and bought a Lexus V8 and dropped it in, and now I couldn't be happier....and have even got more room under the bonnet than a turbo 3vze would have....

But heres some pics of a guys Turbo 3VZE that I chatted to heaps while doing mine....Its a neat install, but its pretty tight for room.

Hey Hill I went oversize from just aft of the manifold(or just ahead of the cat, depending on how you look at it haha). The exhaust pipe was fabricated out of competion spec roll bar tubing. I saw your request for pics as soon as I can borrow a digital camera i'll post some snaps.
Twisty love the plumbing under that hood looks like some of the stuff I used to dream about when I was an electrician. by the by hope you and your family are well clear of the cyclone zone. Cheers mate Aviator.
