newer pu box exchange

I have an 84 toy 4x4 pu with a rusting out box I'm wondering if anyone out there has attempted to switch to a new (seamless) box. Thanks, rj

new p/u box

I've got an 85 w/the same problem. I heard 89-95 will fit w/some minor tweeking. My next box will probably be this www.bruzerbox.com . What is a seamless box BTW?

89-95 don't have the seam for the lower half of the outside panels. That line where the box rusts and falls apart...

toyota bed

even the 79-83 beds will fit on the 84 -88 trucks all the bed mounts line up the same. i did it to a 79 4x4 i was fixing to sell i put a 85 4x4 bed on it. 2wd beds are the same just the wheel opening is a little different. the 89-95 beds will fit the 84-88 i'm doing that swap onn a 84 extended cab i'm fixing now. the bolts line up the same on them years to. so he could use any year bed from 79-95 you need the metal gas filler that bolts to the bed. it's different for the different body styles
