Will a 3VZE alternator directly fit into a 22R-E?

I've searched extensively on this forum and others for an answer.

Does anyone know if I can use the stock alternator from a 3.0L and directly fit it into a 22R-E?

I don't think so. But try calling Canadian tire and asking what the part numbers are for both.

Thank you - just thought people like me would be curious as a swap option.

Now is it a case of that they are setup differently? or is it just brackets that are the problem?

I didn't take them out to compare whether or not it was a bracket issue. The connections are different.
