A freind of mine decided it was time for me to build up his 92' 2X. This truck will be set up for trail driving and of course desert flying. We will keep it street legal. This project started with a Long Travel kit but before we got to it he decided on do a ground up build up with tube chassis rear and 3 link suspension, Full Roll cage from front bumper to rear. Uniball 4" longer front a-arms with bybass shocks, all new fiberglass and the kitchen sink. This should give him a good ride on are Mine Hunting trips in the Mojave.
All front core sheet metal about to be removed. This is one of my favorite things to do. Once the core support is gone it is so easy to work on suspension and motor.


This truck will have a custom dash but the stock a/c and heater will remain.


Removing stock wimpy 13gal tank. replacing with 22 gal.

 

Wow! That should be a pretty cool truck when its done.
