Aftermarket Deck & Power Antenna

Aftermarket Deck & Power Antenna
I have a 98 4runner with power antenna. I got a good deal from a local shop to install a new deck with xm hookup (next mod
). The power antenna now doesn’t work, I assume he didn’t hook it up. How do I go about making this work? The deck has a blue lead for amp/antenna but would put the antenna up whenever the stereo is on, which is ok I guess. But what are some options and how to go about this? I’m sure people have overcome this before.
One other small thing, I’m thinking they knocked off a wire or something. When I got her back the windshield washer light came on, so I filled it up. The light stayed on, and after a couple times emptying and refilling I think something is maybe unclipped, with the light sill being on. They ran some wires for speakers and amps threw the drivers side, so maybe something came loose. Can anyone help me out some with what I can check for? Probably be easier to look myself, rather than drop it off for a day or so with them so busy.
thanks

I Read those 2 posts before, but they have no info on the power antenna control wires, and for now I would like to have the power antenna. But there is some nice info on taking out and putting in under nice conditions.....
In my Haynes book it says it has 3 wires, grey - power, red/white and red/blue. After talking to the tech who did the install, they had to do a "custom" install because the harness they had didn’t work..... So now I’m a little worried..... Does the harness that connects the aftermarket stereo to the factory harness control the power antenna? Does providing power to one of the red wires put the antenna up, the other down, or one to put up, none to put down, or one for ground? I like the older gens idea of a switch to put it up/down. For now just to put it up would b nice.
I’m not sure if I like the idea of a "custom" job. They are the main shop in the area, but then again this is not a big area with like 60k people. So any help, including the washer fluid would be appreciated.

Got the antenna working.
Contary to the info i had, there is one pink/(blue or grey, hard to tell with light) that with power extends the antenna. With no power it retracts it. I will go down tomorow and get a little switch to toggle between the blue lead from the deck to this pink wire. Then with no power to stereo the antenna will go down automaticly, or when i flick the switch on/off.
As for the washer fluid light..... I found no refference to the display light. Its not the fluid that is full, and all the connections seem to be tight. Does anyone know where the wire lead is, and the colors to the wires that control this light both in the dash and under the hood?

Yo! I have a 96 4runner in which I recently installed a Panasonic head unit. I can not get the antenna to go up. Help!!
I assume it is something with the 'antenna relay' but I can not figure out what wires (colors) to splice that will bypass the relay. Any Help would be super appreciated!!!

I have a 97' 4Runner with no antenna...
I have a Sony Xplod put it and the atenna foes up when the stero is turned on
Even if it is on CD mode...
One day on my way to work there was a suburban coming around a turn ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!
I had to ditch off the road a little to avoid it trying to avoid me and ended up scrapin some bushes, bending and breaking my antenna...
I was thinking of finding the swithc the 1st gens have and seeign how that set up works...
I would like the power antenna only cause there are too many people who have suburbans around here and don't know how to drive them...
And PA Stinks!!! at trims down road bushes...
And since antenna ar $12 a pop without shipping included off of ebay..
I don't want to have to replace it constently...
I only use the radio on the highway...
Most of the time I am listening to a CD or my iPod...
